CV vs resume: which one are you being asked for?
In the UK, Ireland, India, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and most of Europe, "CV" means the standard two-page document with a personal statement, employment history, education and skills. In the US and Canada the same document is called a resume and is usually one page; a "CV" there means an academic document with publications.
