Right of Withdrawal
Information about your right to withdraw from your subscription agreement and how to cancel your premium membership with OwlApply.
This document outlines your rights regarding the cancellation and withdrawal from your subscription agreement with OwlApply, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). Please read this information carefully to understand how these rights apply to our digital services.
Digital Services and Right of Withdrawal
Under EU consumer protection law, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. However, for digital services such as SaaS platforms like OwlApply, this right is subject to important exceptions.
Important: Waiver of Withdrawal Right
By subscribing to OwlApply (including paid trials), you expressly consent to immediate access to our digital services and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital service performance has begun. This consent is obtained during the checkout process in accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
Since OwlApply provides immediate access to premium features upon subscription activation, and you provide your express consent to begin using the service immediately during checkout, the 14-day withdrawal period does not apply. This is a standard practice for digital services and SaaS platforms across the European Union.
Your Cancellation Rights
While the right of withdrawal is waived upon immediate access to digital services, you retain full cancellation rights for your subscription at any time:
- Monthly, Quarterly, and Semi-Annual Subscriptions: You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You retain access to premium features until the end of that period. No refunds are provided for unused portions unless required by applicable law.
- Paid Trial Subscriptions: You may cancel your Trial at any time during the trial period. Upon cancellation, you retain access to premium features until the end of the Trial period. If you do not cancel before the Trial expires, your subscription automatically converts to a standard monthly plan at the then-current monthly rate.
How to Cancel Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription using any of the following methods:
- Through your account settings on our platform by selecting 'Cancel Subscription'
- Email: [email protected] with the subject line 'Subscription Cancellation'

Automatic Renewal

For paid trials, your Trial subscription will automatically convert to a standard monthly subscription at the end of the Trial period unless you cancel before the Trial expires.
Trial Auto-Conversion
If you do not cancel your paid Trial before it expires, you will be automatically charged the standard monthly subscription fee. To avoid this charge, cancel your Trial at least 24 hours before the Trial end date.
Legal Basis
The waiver of the right of withdrawal for our digital services is based on Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, which provides that the right of withdrawal shall not apply to contracts for the supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium if the performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and their acknowledgment that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.
