Model resume examples
This page has 8 one-page model resume examples: a commercial print and e-commerce model, an art model, a fashion model, a runway model, a fit model, a fitness model, a hand model and a freelance model. Each one leads with the kind of work booked and how much of it, then backs that with counts such as looks shot per day, shows per season or fittings per week, and the note under each sample explains what that client type checks first.

How to write a model resume
Write a model resume summary
- Open with your modeling type and market, such as commercial print and e-commerce in Dallas or runway in New York, Paris and Milan.
- Give years of work and a booking or show count, since clients and agencies judge current, steady work first.
- Add the trait your type is hired for: steady measurements for a fit model, correct exercise form for a fitness model, still product handling for a hand model.
- Mention agency representation or union membership, such as SAG-AFTRA, when you have it.
Write model experience bullets
- Count the work: bookings a month or year, looks per studio day, castings per week, shows per season, fittings per week.
- Name the client types and formats, such as catalog, e-commerce, editorial, lookbook, swimwear, trade show or TV commercial.
- Show the professional side of set work: taking direction, holding poses, quick changes backstage, matching a mood board or a style guide.
- For freelance work, add business results such as raised day rates, direct clients won and payments collected on time.
Pick the skills for a model resume
- List the skills that match your type, such as posing for e-commerce, runway walking, product handling in macro close-ups, gesture and long poses, or fit feedback against tech packs.
- Add a short credentials and tools line where it applies, such as SAG-AFTRA, a NASM personal trainer certification, QuickBooks for invoicing or casting platforms.
Do's and don'ts
Do this
- Keep measurements, sizes and agency details current and matching your comp card.
- Put your best recent credits near the top: covers, opening or closing spots, named campaigns.
- Send the resume with digitals or a portfolio link, since clients book on both.
- Write a separate version for each type of work you book, such as fit work and print work.
Avoid this
- List every shoot with no count, client type or result.
- Leave out trade show, promotional or showroom work; it proves you can work long days for buyers.
- Use old photos or measurements that no longer match how you look.
- Pad the resume with personal traits instead of bookings and credits.
